Expert in institutional strengthening, the MEAL approach, and gender mainstreaming in public policies and development programs.
Ozman Altamirano
Professional with more than thirty years of experience in both Latin America and Africa, in rural development, climate change, project management, monitoring and formulation of projects related to different value chains, agri-food systems, resource management and climate-smart agriculture, adaptation to climate change, disaster risk management, land use planning, comprehensive farm plans, conservation agriculture, agroecological production, family farming programs, humanitarian aid, food and nutritional security.

A Honduran educator with over 25 years of professional experience in the education sector, developed in both the public sector and international cooperation programs. A graduate in Educational Sciences, she has built a career focused on institutional strengthening , curriculum design, teacher training, and the formulation of public education policies.

International development expert with over 25 years of experience leading and advising programs funded by bilateral and multilateral donors, including USAID. Proven expertise in governance, institutional strengthening, compliance, and internal systems development. Recognized for ethical leadership, strategic thinking, and delivering results in complex and diverse development contexts.
