Ozman Altamirano

Ozman Altamirano is an agronomist with a Master’s in Rural Economics and more than 25 years of experience in rural development, climate change adaptation, territorial planning, and food security. He has led complex international cooperation projects across Africa, Central, and South America, partnering with GIZ, AECID, and the European Union. His work spans public policy design, capacity development, and resilience building at both community and institutional levels.


He is a strategic leader with a proven track record in coordinating multi-million euro programs, managing multidisciplinary teams, and facilitating policy dialogue. Ozman brings an intercultural and systems-thinking approach to every assignment. His contributions are widely recognized in the sector, with key publications on climate risk analysis, adaptation methodologies, and resilience metrics.
