Marifer Martinez is a civil engineer with a Master’s in Project Management and more than 25 years of experience working in international development programs funded by donors such as USAID and other bilateral and multilateral agencies. Her expertise spans governance, community development, institutional strengthening, human resources management, safeguarding and protection, compliance, and ethics oversight.


She has held leadership roles in the implementation and oversight of complex programs with a strong focus on transparency, results, and accountability. Marifer has led multidisciplinary teams and supported the design and execution of internal systems for financial management, monitoring and evaluation, human resources, internal controls, and organizational development—always tailored to the needs and context of the organizations she supports.
