Mirian Rojas
Inclusive Education, Youth Engagement, and Public Sector Strengthening

Mirian Rojas brings more than 25 years of experience in public education systems, community engagement, and development programs in Honduras and the region. Her work bridges national education reform with grassroots implementation, and she has consistently contributed to institutional transformation through inclusive policy design, decentralization frameworks, and participatory training models.
She has advised ministries, donors, and civil society on strengthening governance, transparency, and service delivery in education—especially in areas linked to migration, violence prevention, and youth empowerment. Her methodologies, including the nationally adopted “young-to-young” life skills training approach, have reached thousands of students and educators across rural and urban settings.
Mirian has led or collaborated on strategic initiatives with USAID, GIZ, the World Bank, UNICEF, OIM, and national institutions such as the Ministry of Education. She has designed local education policies, coordinated intersectoral alliances, managed grants and technical teams, and developed practical tools for monitoring and planning. Her leadership is rooted in evidence-based action, collaboration, and long-term sustainability.
